Circa 1850 Staining & Mixing Essentials is a larger kit used to mix and apply both water-based and oil-based stains to wood.
Kit includes an empty bottle, measuring syringe, stain applicator (soft sponge witha quality cotton absorbent cover), one pair latex gloves, premium quality cheesecloth 2.74m² (3 yds²) and recipe book.
Use the soft sponge applicator or premium quality cheese cloth to apply stains or oil finishes to all surfaces. Use the measuring syringe to create custom colours, or to create your own stain mixtures. Recipe book to record mixing ratios is included. For Circa 1850 AQUA Wood Stain, use either applicator to wipe the stain in the direction of the grain. If desired, apply a second coat after 30 minutes. Let dry for 24 hours prior to applying a finish.
